Our instructors are authorised to teach by Michael Ryabko and/or Vladimir Vasiliev.
DAVID KIRILLOV

David Kirillov first started learning Russian martial arts from his father in St Petersburg, Russia. He began his study of the System with Vladimir Vasiliev, the man who introduced it to the West. After training with Vladimir in Canada and attending many international seminars, he was awarded his first teaching certificate by Vladimir in December 2000. David regularly spends time with Mikhail Ryabko in Moscow, who also authorised David to run classes. As well as overseeing our Systema school in London, David is a qualified PADI master scuba diver trainer, and runs a consulting firm in the City.

GIUSEPPE FILOTTO

His formal training in Karate began when he left home at 19 and moved to Cape Town, South Africa, where he achieved a second dan grade. During this time he also worked for a number of years in the close protection service industry with clients ranging in nature and nationality from all over the world. He is a published author and qualified clinical hypnotist and now trains and instructs in the Russian system exclusively.

At the time he was also taking part in inter-army sport competitions and eventually was qulified as a Dynamo Instructor (Soviet Army Sport Club which trained many of the top athletes of the Soviet Union, many of whom are recognised Olympic winners) in 1987. He was requested by the city council to help with the problems of youth crime and instituted a training program which reduced crime in the area drammatically in a very brief space of time. In 2002 he moved to the UK where he continues to train in the System.
